Research issues
The activities of the Department concern four issues :
- exploiting mineral raw material and fossil fuels (primary energy supply). This topic is developed in two subsections : Mineral raw material and Hydrocarbons ;
- long-term stability of geological environments and their works (storage in geological environments). This topic is developed in two subsections : Underground storage and Underground works ;
- the environment (understanding of anthropogenised systems and environments) ;
- ground and underground-related hazards (natural hazards, post-mining).
